The Food Bank of Covington, Inc. was established in 1984 with the assistance of the St. Peter's St. Vincent de Paul Society in downtown Covington, Louisiana.  In 1997, the Food Bank enlarged its service area to include all of St. Tammany, Tangipahoa and Washington Parishes.
